  CURRENT WOOD NEWS

We all lead active and busy lives these days. Some of us are corporate executives, physicians, support staff, stay home parents and maybe even retired or unemployed. From all walks of life we continue to search for resources that inspire or motivate us. Whether we fill our time with work, family, fun, excitement or great adventure there are times that we forget to pursue quality for our lives.

Quality comes in many forms. It may be finding special time to spend with a child or partner. It could be giving a small unexpected gift to a co-worker. Sometimes it is fulfilling the need to gain more knowledge or education toward advancement. Quality is personal and unique to each of us.

Quality of life is the combination of discovering our gifts, feeding them with resources and living the pursuit of the best of who we are. Those whose life is of quality tend to find balance or peace in all of their relationships whether it be career, family, friends or spiritual in nature.

Sometimes we add quality just by taking the time to pamper ourselves. Please take some pampering time to search through our Peaces' site. If you cannot find what you are looking for, be sure to send us a note and be a partner in making Peaces' a place that provides quality life resources and products.

A stair not worn hollow by footsteps is, regarded from its own point of view, only a boring something
made of wood.
Franz Kafka

After all those days in the cotton fields, the dreams came true on a gold
record on a piece of wood. It's
in my den where I can look at it
every day. I wear it out lookin' at it.
Carl Perkins

By means of tracing-paper I
transfer my design to the
wood and draw on that.
John Tenniel

I don't like things that can be reproduced. Wood isn't important in itself but rather in the fact that
objects made in it are unique,
simple, unpretentious.
Georg Baselitz

I wanted something very dense, something that would sustain long
and more pieces of wood that
would be soft, sweet, for more
of a mellow sound.
Les Paul

In the middle of the journey of our life I came to myself within a dark wood where the straight way was lost.
Dante Alighieri

Ontario wood prices are among
the highest in the world.
John Harrison

There are too many souls of wood
not to love those wooden characters who do indeed have a soul.
Jean Cocteau

Ultimately, literature is nothing but carpentry. With both you are
working with reality, a material
just as hard as wood.
Gabriel Garcia Marquez
